There are a lot of possibilities as to why someone has trouble making friends, or doesn’t. Its not just about being nice/not rude. People have biases for all sorts of things. If you tend to keep quiet some people mistake that for not being interested. Theres also a lot of jerks who don’t give us the time of day because of the stutter. I don’t think you’re SLP was totally right or wrong.
