You are obviously a kind person to consider the feelings of your fellow group member. Every stutterer reacts differently. He might resent your offer to allow him a significant, though no speaking, role or he might feel marginalized because of his impediment. Just ask him. Your sensitivity will be appreciated no matter which role he prefers in the presentation. I’m a recovered stutterer who would have gladly chosen a nonspeaking role in the group presentation.
