I’ve had a life long stutter that I can manage pretty well. I also have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I personally would not send either of my children to a speech therapist for the stutter/stammer until they are in 3rd or 4th grade. Bringing attention to the stutter before your child can read fluently is a recipe for disaster. Most kids grow out of it.
