What type of stutter do I have? So i know a stutter is different for each person but i never met or heard one like mine. Instead of stuttering in the sence of: „a-ap-a-apple“, i stutter in a different way. I take a really long time to start a sentence because i stop breathing and nothing is coming out: „…………apple“. It‘s like i have a vent in my lungs which randomly close when i talk. Then i usually just stand there with an open mouth and try to breath again. Until it eventually works and then i usually speak the sentence very clearly. Well until the next „vent closing“. I thought about calling it a blockade to make people have a easier time visualizing it. So if y‘all know what i‘m talking about or maybe also have let me know, it would help to know i‘m not the only one :)
