To the person who wrote this comment, “Do you stutter?” It seems to me you don’t. I do and I would never give this advice. If you do and you give this advice, then I would just say I strongly disagree. I know little about the Lidcombe program except what I just Googled, and based on that it sounds like that with a good parent, and it sounds like you are, this would work great. Just because your child doesn’t care about his stutter now doesn’t mean he won’t when he is mocked and ridiculed in school. Address it fast. I am not saying pressure, just soon. The Lidcombe approach seems to fit these parameters.
