We've had all kinds, I think starting in first grade they really emphasized the "strategies" and later on they moved on to "acceptance." My son seems to have some secondary characteristics (tongue thrusting mainly), so I'm not sure any of that has helped. I'll be honest that I don't have the highest regard for speech therapists at the moment. I'm sure they are super helpful with other speech issues, its just I feel like they don't really do much for people who stutter. But that's obviously just been my anecdotal experience.
