No! Do never correct your child otherwise he will strengthen his negative feelings from stuttering and he will remember he has random impediments which can for a lifetime do harms to his speaking abilities. The better way to 'correct' him is to accept the way he talks and tells him you are not alien, you are not disabled, you are not retard and etc.
