The more you fear it, the more you will think about it. This is part of the vicious cycle people who stutter get into. You focus the most on what you're scared of. By thinking about it, the mind is trying to protect you from this potential "threat", by constantly scanning for this "threat", making you constantly on edge about it. When you stop fearing stuttering, the mind will eventually stop feeling the need to scan for this "threat" (in efforts to protect you) and you'll automatically stop thinking about it to the extent you're thinking about it right now. Because by then (when you truly stop fearing stuttering) there is nothing to be protected from, as by then there is no threat anymore. Hope this helps.
