4 y/o sudden increased stutter Hi all- amidst the COVID19 crisis, I’m unsure of where to turn. Almost a month ago I reached out to my 4 year old sons pediatrician in regards to a recently developed stutter: one that seemed to dramatically increase overnight. They told me to keep an eye on it and we would asses at his wellness check late April. In the last few days, the later the day gets it gets shockingly worse. To the point where he will say “you-you-you” almost seven times before the sentence comes to fruition. He sometimes just stops his stuttered sentence and says something else entirely. At one point yesterday, he said “mumma I cant talk right.” I almost burst into tears. We are staying home & self isolating at this time to stem the outbreak and prevent home infection: he is asthmatic and always gets sick as it is. I admit I have been testy and frustrated/anxious and he probably feels it: he is a highly intuitive child. Does anyone have any tips, activities, exercises, ANYTHING at this time that I can get the ball rolling for him? I am desperate, nervous and trying my best.
