Exactly why I ask. It could be argued that if the neurological map related to stuttering doesn't know to fire (or isn't triggered by anxiety/thoughts of stuttering), then it could be passed over and eventually remapped by something else. In my case, I speak nearly fluent when I "forget" about my stutter or am focused *heavily* on something else. Essentially, not allowing my brain to "remember" to stutter. Which leads me to believe, in my case, some of the stutter is being amplified by simply thinking about it. Stutterer for \~25 years, since age 5. Mostly blocks (currently)
