If you don't don't you're getting anything out of your slp, is either tell them what you're doing isn't working for you or find a new slp. Most slps don't know how to work with stuttering effectively and the unfortunate truth is its hard to find a good one. But when you find an slp who knows what they're doing with stuttering, it can be life changing. Have you looked at the BSA? British stammering association? Maybe you can get some good information there, not to mention find other stammerers with whom to speak.
