Same here. I used to tell nobody that I stutter. But some people know, now. But they said, they never realised until I told them. That made me proud, because I have to restructure almost every sentence in my head immediately before speaking, because I know before if I can say that word fluently. So I have to substitute the words or even a whole sentence. I know some guys who stutter very badly. That makes me always feel lucky, that it's not that intense in my case. One quit the job (video rental store, I trained him) after 2 days because he couldn't talk with customers. After 3 years of work there, I never really get stuck in a phrase.
