This. I’ve been married almost 10 years. I can’t recall if my stuttering was more/less noticeable when I started dating my wife, though in the moment it felt like a big deal. In hindsight, it didn’t matter one bit, as she would go on to see me at my most fluent and least fluent times, and she has been supportive through it all. I’d focus less on your own fluency and more on the character of the person across from you.
