Family relations are tricky and I’m not going to presume I know anything about your relationship with your father. Is it safe to assume, however, that your dad loves you and wants the best for you? In that case, he needs to know that he’s hurting you more than he’s helping. How can you unambiguously communicate this to him? The fact that he stuttered as a child may cause him to assume that whatever worked for him will work for you.
