Yup. I feel like if you do any of those things that have been suggested it would work, just be sure to let them know you are looking at them and thanking (or whatever) THEM. Most people know the sign for thank you, probably, so that and mouth the words might be good. Next thing you know it will be second nature and you won't realize you have been saying thank you as well!
