Typical Stuttering is the brain's inability to adequately process the speaker's normal voice as they speak. The brain dysfunction is the cause and the stuttering is the effect. Standard stuttering therapy is useless because it deals with the effect and not the cause. When you deal with the cause of stuttering (brain dysfunction) then, and only then, are you able to reduce the effect (stuttering)
