i appreciate your input. my doctor isn’t your average GP, he’s the kind of doctor that you need to pay a lot for even in australia where healthcare is generally cheaper or even free than other countries. (also xanax is banned in australia lol) alongside that, we discussed that changing my anti depressants alongside introducing a new medication would not be the best way to go as it’s hard to see the side effects of both medications as they’re being new at the same time if that makes sense. like i said, i’ve discussed this with my doctor and we have agreed that long term use is NOT happening, like in the article i linked in the original post the subject using benzodiazepines discontinued use after he saw his stuttering improve and continued use of the SSRI to keep managing it i will keep your words in mind as i am already pretty terrified of getting addicted and i only want this to get on top of my worsening stutter to just get it under control enough for my anti depressant to keep managing it, to say it in non-medical terms haha
