I understand where you are coming from. I (20M) stutter and after going to a speech therapist, it seems like it only got worse. I have thought of ending it at times, but now I’m in college and have a goal in my life. I am studying to be a high school history teacher, and I want to be a teacher that can provide support for people who stutter. I never had that it school, so I want to be that person, even if it is just for one student. I also had a good time in my last field placement, I was only 1 .5 years older than the seniors I was teaching to so it was a bit odd, but everyone was nice or at least caring. This all made me feel better about my speech and I hope that all goes well for you.
