My dad forced me to read a book aloud when i was younger. But i was always crying because he would scold me. If you could, maybe you can be more loving and nurturing when youre trying to practice talking with her. Honestly for myself, i think practicing speaking and getting confidence helped me alot. Let her be comfortable joining plays, organizations that would encourage her to talk and socialize with her peers. My stutter was at its lowest or barely gone when I used to go out at socialize with other people and talking to strangers. My severe stutter came back during the pandemic when i had no one to talk to. Thinking about it made me realize i spent weeks not talking to anybody.
